Cigital, a software security and consulting firm based out of Virginia, released the findings of a study this week that backs up poker player's long held belief, that skill not luck is the major determining factor in poker. The study’s authors, Paco Hope and Dr. Sean McCulloch, claimed that the analysis provided statistical evidence that poker is in fact a game of skill, not luck.
